The following sets out the terms and conditions of Applejack Crafts.  Please read them carefully.

Terms & Conditions

As I operate a policy of low numbers for my classes (usually a maximum of 4), places are becoming more popular and I like to accommodate as many people as I can.  Therefore, please take note of the cancellation policy.

Bookings

Bookings can be made at any time through the completion of a Booking Form and places are subject to availability on a first-come, first-served basis.  A deposit is only necessary for the Technique Classes (£5) and the balance is due on the day of the class.  For all other classes, payment is due in full on the day of the class or in advance using the Advanced Booking Scheme.  All payments must be made by cash/cheque.  Cheques should be made payable to Applejack Crafts.

Workshop fees are operated on a tiered system, allowing flexibility for those who are unable, or would prefer not to make advanced commitments, as well as a low-cost advantage for advanced planning.  As follows:

Advance Bookings

Pay for up to 4 workshops/classes in advance for the price of £60 (ie £15 per class).  In order to take advantage of this low-cost option, please note that no refunds will be available for cancelled or missed classes, nor are dates transferable.

Pay-As-You-Go

Book and attend each workshop/class as desired and pay for each individually at a price of £17.50 per session.  Cancellation fees apply if the place is cancelled as follows:

  • Between 1 week and 48 hours of the class - 50% of the class fee is due
  • Within 48 hours of the class - 100% of the class fee is due.

Pay-As-You-Go Premium

Book and attend each workshop/class as desired and pay for each individually at a price of £20 per session.  No cancellation fees apply which allows the Student maximum flexibility.

Refunds

Refunds will only be given in the unlikely event of a workshop/class having to be cancelled.

Loyalty Scheme

For every class attended, or £15 spent in the Shop, Students will receive an Apple for their Loyalty Card.  When 10 Apples are collected, this can be exchanged for either a free class or £15 in goods from the Shop.  No cash refunds will be given.  Loyalty Cards are not transferable.

Registration

Students are asked to register and complete a Registration Form which will include contact details, requests and a copy of the Terms & Conditions to ensure no misunderstandings.

Projects

In the unlikely event of limited availability, it may be necessary to substitute project surfaces without prior notice.  Every effort will be made to keep as close to the original design as possible.  All project designs are copyrighted and may not be reproduced without the permission of the designer.

Gift Vouchers

Gift vouchers are available to purchase from Applejack Crafts.  They are valid for 6 months from date of issue and can be redeemed against workshops or supplies.  Change from vouchers used will be in the form of a credit note and not cash.  Gift vouchers are non-refundable.

Commissions

A 50% deposit is required for all commissions on agreement of an estimate and commencement of work.  The balance is due on completion.  Please allow 14-21 days for completion of work.  Refunds are not available for commissions.

Returns

Exchanges and refunds are available for all stock purchases, with the exception of special orders, within 14 days of purchase.  Items must be in original packaging and unused.  Applejack Crafts reserve the right to refuse returns if the goods are damaged in any way.

Privacy Policy

All contact information held will be used solely for the purpose of communication with the individual and will not be passed on to any third party without the individual's consent.  

Any photographs taken of Students' work will only be used with permission.
